ROSEBURG, Ore. – Roseburg Public Schools announced Tuesday a second COVID-19 case has been tied to Green Elementary School.

The latest case is a student, and district officials said the first case is an adult who works at the school.

At this time, everyone who may have been exposed has been contacted and are self-isolating, the district said. Students in quarantine are temporarily under remote learning.

The cases come a week after elementary school students went back to in-person learning.

District officials said they are working closely with Douglas Public Health Network in response to the situation.
