Sex abuse suspect arrested following traffic stop

GLIDE, Ore. – An Oregon State Police Trooper conducted a traffic stop in the Glide area on March 1, leading to the arrest of a man suspected of sex abuse.

OSP said Brandyn Olinger, 21, of Winston had an underage girl in his car who did not have parental permission to be with him.

Police served a search warrant on Olinger’s car and home with help from the Winston Police Department on Tuesday.

Following the seizure of several electronic items, Olinger was taken to the Douglas County Jail on charges of using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct, first and second-degree encouraging child sex abuse, first-degree online sexual corruption of a child and tampering with physical evidence.

Police believe there may be additional victims. The suspect also goes by the name Brandyn Moxey, they said. If you have any information, please contact detectives at 541-440-3316.
