SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- Plans are being finalized for the Springfield Library Foundation’s 10th Anniversary Books & Brew event.

This year the library is getting creative and taking advantage of a unique opportunity to expand and transform its yearly celebration into four nights of ‘virtual’ cheer.

The event runs Jan. 26-29 and will feature games, raffle prizes and packages for purchase. There will also be some new events, such as the Foundation’s inaugural Pet Pageant. And, of course, there will be books and brew.

Mark your calendars and follow the library on Facebook for all the details about the annual event. Money raised at Books & Brew supports the Springfield Public Library Foundation, and the many programs and services it funds at the Springfield Public Library.

The Eugene musical-improv group “Earthling Music” will introduce the event, complete with custom library-centric songs like "Can't Keep Quiet!"

Contact the library for information on sponsorships, tickets or auction item donations at springfieldorlibraryfoundation@gmail.com.
