SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Stolen items from burglaries and thefts in three counties were recovered in the past week, and a suspect is in jail, Springfield police say.
On Nov. 20, detectives served a search warrant at a home and three storage units tied to Max Trezona, 31.
Police were looking for a stolen trailer, quads and a motorcycle. However, detectives reportedly recovered property from numerous burglaries and thefts in Springfield, Eugene, Lane County, Linn County and North Bend. One of the quads and the motorcycle were recovered, police said.
Eight guns were also among the many items reportedly found during the search. Police said several items have been returned to the victims and they are working to return the rest.
In 2017, Trezona was arrested on drug and property crimes and was released from prison in November 2019. He is on post-prison supervision, police said.
He now faces 11 counts of first-degree theft, three counts of unauthorized use of a vehicle, three counts of possessing a stolen vehicle, eight counts of felon in possession of a weapon and two counts of mail theft.
