EUGENE, Ore. – Two people were arrested on Tuesday in connection with a shooting in July.
Gage Duncan-Moor, 20, of Springfield, and Kevin Villanueva, 22, of Springfield face charges in the shooting, which left a 23-year-old unconscious in the 400 block of Highway 99 North on July 18.
Police said Duncan-Moor was already in custody on charges linked to the death of Zacory Hooks in Springfield.
Duncan-Moor now also faces charges of first-degree robbery and first-degree assault in the shooting.
Villanueva faces charges of first-degree robbery, first-degree assault and felon in possession of a firearm.
Police said on Friday that suspect Daniel Villada-Rodriguez, 20, of Springfield turned himself in. He faces charges of first-degree assault and first-degree robbery.
The first officer arriving to the scene of the shooting applied a tourniquet to the victim’s leg and another officer started CPR. The man regained consciousness and was taken to a local hospital.
