PORTLAND, Ore. – A Springfield teenager is accused of going into a home and shooting another teenager in Portland.
Jeffrey Terrell, 17, is facing attempted murder and assault charges. Court records show he has not been formally charged.

He was arrested Monday after a week-long search for a suspect. U.S. Marshals found him near Providence Park in Portland and took him to a juvenile detention center.
Deputies said on Feb. 5, they responded to a shooting in the Bethany neighborhood of Portland. A 16-year-old boy called 911 and told dispatchers someone came into his home and shot him.
The boy was airlifted to the hospital and has been released.
