SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Stuff the Bus, the annual donation drive for Food for Lane County and Toys for Tots, is happening Friday and Saturday, Nov. 13 and 14.

Friday’s event is at the Walmart on Olympic Street in Springfield until 8 p.m. and Saturday’s event is at the Delta Oaks Walmart on Green Acres Road in Eugene from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

This year Stuff the Bus is contact-free to meet COVID-19 safety guidelines. Donors can drive up, open their trunks and volunteers will collect the food and toys. Donors also have the option of putting their donations into an on-site collection barrel.

Volunteers will be wearing masks and following all social distancing and safety guidelines.

Donors are asked to help fill the LTD bus with quality food items and new, unwrapped toys. The donations will support Food for Lane County, the Toys for Tots program and more than 60 local service organizations.

The event is sponsored by KDUK, Lane Transit District, Food for Lane County, Toys for Tots and Walmart.
