EUGENE, Ore. – A suspect accused of stabbing a man in Eugene has turned himself in, police say.
Delmare James Monical, 34, allegedly stabbed a 35-year-old just before 8 a.m. on Wednesday. Officers responded to a tent off the bike path behind McMenamins, 22 Club Road.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, and officers searched for a suspect.
Police said Monical turned himself in at Monroe Street Park and was taken to the Lane County Jail. He faces charges of assault in the first, second and fourth degrees and unlawful use of a weapon.
