EUGENE, Ore. -- A Sutherlin man was arrested in a child prostitution sting in Eugene, police said.

Bryan Ray Warren, 38, is accused of responding to a posting by special investigations detectives, who posed online as a 15-year-old girl.

Detectives said Warren agreed to meet the girl in the vicinity of a local high school and was arrested by the street crimes unit. Warren is in the Lane County Jail and faces a charge of first-degree online sexual corruption of a child.

Police said they want to raise awareness to prevent sexual exploitation and to help children and women who are victimized.
