ROSEBURG, Ore. – The Roseburg teenager accused of killing his foster mother, her daughter and his biological sister was back in court Thursday.

Kevin Adams, 16, appeared for a status check hearing ahead of his trial scheduled for February 2019.

On Wednesday, the judge approved a motion filed by prosecutors that bans Adams from having the addresses or phone numbers for family members of those he is accused of killing.

Adams’ attorneys will also be filing motions arguing violations of due process and equal protection in the case.

He is expected back in court Oct. 12.

In November, investigators said he shot and killed his foster mother Donya Adams, foster sister Amory Adams and biological sister Payshience Adams inside their home near Lookingglass.
