Threat found at Siuslaw Middle School

Police did not believe the threat was credible.

FLORENCE, Ore. -- Police investigated a threat of violence found at Siuslaw Middle School. 

The school's principal, Andy Marohl, sent a voice message to parents of students Tuesday morning, alerting them to the situation. In the message, he described an alleged threat found in graffiti. 

Police were notified and mantained a presence at the school while they investigated. They did not believe the threat was credible.
