CORVALLIS, Ore. -- A graffiti message was discovered in a bathroom Wednesday at Corvallis High School, indicating a potential threat to the school Friday, December 7th.
The Corvallis Police Department is investigating the threat. Although school officials said they don't believe students nor staff need to change their school routine Friday, the district is implementing a school safety plan at the high school Friday.
The safety plan includes extra safety precautions including more law enforcement officers, according to school district officials.
The district is asking for anyone who knows something about this threat to report what they know. You can call the school district office and ask for School Resource Officer Evan Hull, (541) 757-5811, or call SafeOregon, a 24/7 anonymous tip line, 1-800-472-3367.
