EUGENE, Ore. – Three people have been arrested after a burglary in Eugene on Oct. 11.
Officers responded at about 8:15 a.m. to a reported burglary in progress at a home on the 4900 block of Cone Avenue. They arrived just after the suspects drove away in two vehicles. Construction equipment and tools were among the items taken.
Good vehicle descriptions and video surveillance footage from neighbors helped the investigation.
Officers tracked the suspects to a home on the 3600 block of Pattison Street where both involved vehicles were parked, police said.
Three people were arrested, and police said most of the stolen property was recovered.
Jeffrey Lydon, 34, of Eugene faces charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree theft, possession of methamphetamine and driving while suspected. Brandon Sackett, 35, was arrested on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, and second-degree criminal mischief. Lastly, Jordan Walton, 30, of Eugene was arrested for heroin possession and on a warrant.
