Traffic stop on I-5 leads to meth arrest in Sutherlin

SUTHERLIN, Ore. -- A traffic stop on Interstate 5 led to a methamphetamine arrest Wednesday night, the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team said.

Detectives initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle speeding southbound on I-5 in Sutherlin, and Patrick Todd, 22, of Roseburg was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Detectives searched the vehicle and found about two ounces of meth, other drug paraphernalia and a concealed handgun.

Todd was lodged at the Douglas County Jail on charges of unlawful possession and delivery of meth and felon in possession of a firearm.

Bradley Evans, 36, of Winston was cited and released on the charge of unlawful meth possession.
