EUGENE, Ore. – Two more arrests have been made in connection with the riot that took place in Eugene in May.
Police said the separate arrests were made in the past couple of weeks.
Tyler Hendry, 29, of Eugene was arrested for riot and second-degree criminal mischief. Police said he was arrested during a traffic stop after investigators saw him at Coburg Road and Interstate 105.
Cheyenne Bull, 25, of Eugene was arrested after a traffic stop at River Road and Beltline. She faces charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree theft and riot.
A peaceful protest that night turned into a riot that led to businesses being damaged and burglarized and incidents of assault, arson and other violent crimes. It centered on the intersection of 7th Avenue and Washington Street.
Police said they will continue to make arrests related to the riot.
