EUGENE, Ore. – For the third year in a row, people on the University of Oregon campus can share encouraging words for sexual assault victims.

On campus this week the "Arise Institute" put up an eight foot tall, eight foot wide, 12 foot long wall. It's for people to write supportive messages to those impacted by sexual assault. Organizers said hundreds of people have signed the wall and hope it will have an impact.

"I believe this is a really important event and our goal is to be able to allow people and other communities and other schools to replicate it and it's a really beautiful thing to be able to allow people to participate in the healing of survivors as well as the prevention of more sexual assault in the future," said Sharon Baker with Arise Institute.

The wall is located on the Lillus Lawn on campus. It's there from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and April 26th is the last day to write messages.
