EUGENE, Ore. – Classes will now be held remotely through summer term at the University of Oregon, administrators said.

It will be the second term held completely online at the university as a result of the pandemic.

Provost and Senior Vice President Patrick Phillips said he hopes making an early decision regarding summer classes will help students better plan for the term.

The university has yet to make a decision regarding non-instructional activities such as research and summer camps.
