Vandalism spree targets Springfield businesses

Police said there were reports of vandalism, burglary and auto theft in the area of 21st and Main streets.

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – A string of vandalism incidents Tuesday morning targeted several Springfield businesses, police say.

Police said there were reports of vandalism, burglary and auto theft in the area of 21st and Main streets.

Busy Bee Café, El Kaiman Western Wear, Mini Pet Mart, and Todd’s Place were among the businesses that were affected.

Detectives are continuing to investigate, and officers will be increasing patrols in the area of Springfield businesses in the coming nights.
