ALBANY, Ore. -- A vehicle fire caused some lanes of Interstate 5 to close down near Albany Thursday afternoon.
Oregon Department of Transportation officials said the vehicle was on the left shoulder about three miles north of Albany.
The incident caused all northbound lanes to close at one point. By 5:15 p.m. all lanes had reopened.
Southbound traffic was also impacted during the incident.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area or expect long delays.
