Winter Storm Warning for Willamette Valley

Four to six inches of snow are expected to fall overnight, with eight inches or more possible in areas like the south hills of Eugene.

EUGENE, Ore. -- A Winter Storm Warning and Winter Weather Advisory have been issued for the Willamette Valley Sunday night. Four to six inches of snow are expected to fall overnight, with eight inches or more possible in areas like the South Hills of Eugene. 

Cascade foothills could see an additional one to two feet of snow overnight. 

Lane County officials said their road crews have been on call and busy throughout Sunday, working to clear key roads of snow.

They said the McKenzie area has more than 16 inches of snow in some places, making it the largest impact area so far. The county also has crews plowing snow in Cottage Grove, Veneta, Dexter and Oakridge.
