GREENSBORO, NC -- Oregon State men's soccer's season came to an end after suffering a 2-1 loss in extra time to Virginia Tech in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Virginia Tech's Jacob Labovitz scored the game-winning goal with a header as the clock expired in extra time.
It was one of two goals on the day for Labovitz.
The other score also came from a header in the 54th minute.
Oregon State tied the game in the 87th minute on a Tyrone Mondi goal that was assisted by Joe Hafferty.
The Beavers end the season with a 9-5 record.
This was OSU's second tournament appearance in three seasons under head coach Terry Boss.
