Beavs lose big to Utah

OSU's offense slowed down by Utah

CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Oregon State coulnd't come up with its second straight Pac-12 win after falling to Utah, 52-7.

The Beavers only touchdown came on a pass from Tristan Gebbia to Calvin Tyler Jr. near the end of the game.

The Utes took at 35-0 lead into halftime and the Beavers couldn't recover. 

OSU quarterback Jake Luton went 17-34 for 131 yards. Luton also threw his first interception of the season.

Wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins had eight catches for 77 yards and no touchdowns.

Utah's offense carried the game with a balanced attack recording 256 rushing yards and 247 passing yards. 

Utes running back Zach moss finished with five carries for 121 yards and a pair of touchdowns. 

With the loss OSU falls to 2-4 overall and 1-2 in Pac-12 play. The Beavers will try and regroup when they face Cal on the road at 11:30 a.m. on October 19.
