CORVALLIS, Ore. -- During the 2020 pandemic shortened football season, Oregon State finished 2-5.
The Beavers haven't had a season over .500 since 2013. That's also the last time they've played in a bowl game.
"Every year is important to at least win 6 games," said head coach Jonathan Smith.
Smith enters his fourth year at the helm of Oregon State's program.
"I've never felt better that each Saturday when we line up this year, we are gonna win that game," he said.
The Beavers return all four of their 2020 captains in Tristan Gebbia, Andzrej Hughes-Murray, Jaydon Grant and Issac Hodgins. With provided experience and depth at each position on the roster going to a bowl game is a common goal amongst the team.
Oregon State begins the season in West Lafayette, Indiana against Purdue on September 4th.
