CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Oregon State running back Jermar Jefferson has been cleared to play in Saturday's game versus Stanford.
Jefferson and four other Beaver football players were unable to play against Utah after being placed in COVID-19 protcols last Tuesday. Head coach Jonathan Smith said that Jefferson returned to practice on Wednesday after being released from quarantine.
In only four games this season, Jefferson has rushed for 675 yards and scored 7 touchdowns.
On Monday, Jefferson was named a semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award which is given annually to the nation's top running back.
