No. 3 Ducks dominate against Long Beach St.

Sabrina Ionescu was three assists shy of a triple-double.

LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Oregon's Sabrina Ionescu tallied 21 points to go along with 12 rebounds a seven assists in the 81-45 win over Long Beach State Saturday.

Fifteen points of Ionescu's 21 points came in the first quarter after shooting 6-7 and 3-3 from three-point range. It was part of a 31-point first for the Ducks.

While Ionescu filled the stat sheet, freshman Jaz Shelley added 17 points in the win as well. Shelley is part of an Oregon bench that outscored LBSU, 41-21.

Oregon was also outrebounded the 49ers 38-17 while winning the second chance points battle, 17-6.

With the win Oregon improves to 8-1 on the season. The Ducks will host another Big West Conference team in UC Riverside at 11 a.m. Monday from Matthew Knight Arena.
