Eugene, Ore. -- The Oregon Healthy Authority announced updates to their Coronavirus guidelines in regards to the prohibition of high contact indoor sports. With the high school season just a month away, the OHA's updates lifted the prohibition on sports like basketball and wrestling and clear the way for an OSAA season in May.

The winter sports season, dubbed 'season three', under the new plan from OSAA was set to begin in May following the conclusion of spring 'season two' sports.

With the clearance of basketball and wrestling to return, teams across the state can now practice for their season and youth programs are allowed to begin yet again.
