CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Oregon State women's basketball will head to Eugene on Sunday to face off against in-state rival Oregon.
When these two teams met on Dec. 13 at Gill Coliseum, Oregon won 79-59.
"No matter what happens on Sunday, this team is completely different than we were back then," said head coach Scott Rueck.
Since December, the Beavers have undergone two seperate COVID-19 pauses and gotten the additional of freshman Talia von Oelhoffen.
"I would say everyone has grown not just as individual, but as a team," said Aleah Goodman.
Goodman and von Oelhoffen picked up conference honors after OSU's back-to-back wins on the road.
Goodman was named Pac-12 Player of the Week. She shot 54.5 percent from the floor and 50 percent from 3-point range. The senior is averaging 16.6 points per game on the season, along with 5.1 assists per contest. Goodman is third in the nation with a 3-point percentage of 52.1.
von Oelhoffen was tabbed as Freshman of the Week. She scored a career-high 19 points at USC on Friday, going 7-for-9 from the floor and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. The freshman followed that up with 13 points and six rebounds at UCLA on Sunday.
