EUGENE, Ore. -- LOS ANGELES -- Nine days after beating the Trojans at Gill Coliseum, Oregon State men's basketball couldn't outlast another second half surge from USC.

The Beavers three-game win streak came to an end after suffering a 75-62 loss to USC.

Ethan Thompson shot 7 of 17 from the floor to score a game-high 20 points. Jarod Lucas added 18 points of his own.

USC was led by 7-foot freshman Evan Mobley. He scored 14 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, helping the Trojans out-rebound Oregon State 48-30. USC's defense didn't allow the Beavers a field goal in the final 2:30.

Oregon State is set to play #23 UCLA at Pauley Pavillion on Saturday. Game time is set for 4 p.m. on Pac-12 Networks.
