Eugene, Ore. -- Chris Duarte had 30 points and 11 rebounds, and No. 12 Oregon outlasted Southern California 79-70 in double overtime. Duarte also made eight steals, one shy of the school record. With 24 points and seven assists, Ducks guard Payton Pritchard became the first Pac-12 player to reach 1,500 career points, 600 assists and 500 rebounds. Onyeka Okongwu had 23 points and 14 rebounds for the Trojans.

How it happened:

From one close game to another. Ducks down two in the final minute. Payton Pritchard gets his shot to go to keep USC from pulling away. Oregon would get a steal and have a chance for the win. Will Richardson's floater fell just short. The game headed to overtime.

With the game tied in overtime and time expiring, Pritchard decided to take it himself. Stepback jumper was off the mark and double OT at Matthew Knight began.

At that point, Oregon began to pull away. Chris Duarte buried a three that proved to be the dagger. Duarte's 30 points, 11 rebounds and 8 steals were the first time a college player has posted that line since 1999 (Alvin Young of Niagra).
