EUGENE, Ore. – Football activities have been temporarily suspended at Sheldon High School after a COVID-19 case was identified.
Eugene School District 4J officials said they are working with public health to respond to the case and conduct contact tracing. Players’ families have been notified.
Football activities will be on hold for two weeks from the last known potential exposure and will resume starting March 14.
District officials said the success of sports and academic opportunities relies on everyone doing their part to limit the transmission of the virus.
