Eugene, Ore. -- The Oregon men’s basketball team opened the 2018-2019 season with an impressive 84-57 win over the Portland State Vikings. Ducks’ head coach Dana Altman spoke to the media after the game about his team’s performance. Altman was disappointed with the physicality in the paint and on the boards. But he loved what he saw from his veteran players. Point guard Payton Pritchard and forward Paul White led Oregon in scoring by throwing up a combined 37 points. And freshman center Bol Bol had himself a debut as well, scoring 12 points and getting three big time blocks.
