Andy Moffitt joined KEZI 9 News as a Meteorologist in August of 2018.
Andy has a bachelor’s degree in Meteorology and Atmospheric Science from the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences at Pennsylvania State University.
While at Penn State, Andy was actively involved in many meteorology clubs and organizations. He served as Head of Communications, and then President, of the Penn State Campus Weather Service, the largest collegiate weather forecasting and broadcasting organization in the world.
Andy grew up in Placerville, California, just east of Sacramento. Living on the doorstep of the Sierra Nevada mountains led Andy to have a passion for the outdoors. He loves hiking, camping and exploring and is excited to see all that western Oregon has to offer.
