Kate Rogerson joined the KEZI 9 News team as a sports anchor and reporter in August 2020.

Kate is a proud graduate of the University of Rhode Island. While in school, Kate completed internships at WLNE, an ABC-affiliate in Providence, and WFXT, a FOX-affiliate in Boston. She also spent her senior year as a digital reporter for GoRhody.com.

During her internships, Kate covered many stories, including Rhode Island high school football, the 2018 World Series at Fenway Park, the Boston Bruins' 2019 Stanley Cup playoff run, and provided ongoing coverage of the New England Patriots. Some of Kate's favorite broadcasting moments are from her experience covering the 2019 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Tournament in Brooklyn, New York.

Most recently, Kate completed an internship at ESPN's headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut, where she served as a production assistant. While at ESPN, Kate helped create and assemble content for SportsCenter's nightly programming.

Born and raised just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, Kate is excited to be living on a new coast. When she's not watching sports, she enjoys spending time outdoors, eating pizza, and roaming the aisles of her favorite stores.
