coming up at 5 here the oregon state university robotics club are international champions for their design of a mars rover. the club recently won the canadian international rover challenge earlier this summer. some of the schools they beat out included harvard and the university of washington. organizers say their team and the mars rover participated in various tasks similar to what astronauts do on a daily basis. the instructor who looks over the club "incredibly proud of these students for organizing themselves, for getting themselves to canada, for building this robot, designing it, and executing great. they did phenomal against the competition and now they have so many opportunities." he says they're always looking for new
