and a permanent director will be brought in. a new apartment complex could soon be built next to alton baker park? where the lane county housing authority "homes for good" is now. kezi 9 news reporter michael sevren joins us live at that property tonight. michael? chynna? i'm outside of homes for good offices near alton baker park. officials here say they plan to move downtown....makin g way for a new apartment complex since 1971 home for good has called this office on day island road home. but now their getting ready to move. jacob fox of homes for good says they also have an office in springfield and plan to bring all of their services under on roof at the old eugene library on 13 street downtown. sot: we came to the conclusion that by being in one building we can provide better customer service that are eather in our housing or are receiving a rental subsisity from us. fox says they sold their property near alton baker park this summer for ? poin?1 million dollars. and there are already plans in the works to make use of the prime piece of real estate. according to documents filed with the city of eugene architecture firm? studio 3 has applied for building permits and a lan? use application. documents show they hope to build a mult?level apartment complex with onsite parking. fox says the money from the sale will allow them to make improvements to their new office. i reached out to studio 3 to learn more about this apartment complex but haven't heard back. city leader still need to sign off on the project. homes for good plans to move their new location by january of 2020. live in eugene michael sevren
