his deputies to break the law. there are more than two dozen new citizens in lane county tonight. kezi nine news reporter emma jerome joins us live in the studio to tell matt i got the opportunity to sit in for a naturalization ceremony today? and i could feel how special it was for everyone ej: for reasons all unique... dozens went to the eugene distric t courthouse this morning for a naturalization ceremony where they all would become united states woman even says she's always felt like an amercan. aileen trainor: "i've always felt that i've been this long that i was just automatically so i've never felt differently." jerome standup:" it was in this room that 26 people became full fledged american citizens... and the judge who led the ceremony tells me it is one of her greatest honors" ann aiken:" this is the most remarkable assignment we can have on our court. to swear in new citizens and the naturalization ceremony for all of us is the high point. it's really a privilege we get to do for people" ej: the 26 who were sworn in today came from 14 different countries all over the world... and regardless of their reasons for coming to america.... many people left the ceremony today with a renewed love for the country they call home coming up at 6? hear from a man who says he came to the states for one reason... but stayed for another. live in the
