EUGENE, Ore. -- About 150 students, ages 5 to 11, received their first COVID-19 vaccine dose Thursday evening, according to 4J officials.
The clinic was held at Arts & Technology Academy in partnership with Lane County Public Health.
The next clinic is on Nov. 30 at Howard Elementary School.
Parent permission is required for children under age 15.
This all comes as the FDA authorized emergency use of Pfizer’s vaccine for children age 5 to 11, and the CDC has recommended its use.
