EUGENE, Ore. -- One man was sent to the hospital Friday evening after being hit by a car, according to the Eugene Police Department.
Police responded to the intersection of Crescent Avenue and Coburg Road around 5:40pm after calls of a collision between two cars.
Early reports show that the passenger in one of the cars got out, and was then hit by another passing car that was not involved in the original crash.
Officers said the man who was hit was taking pictures of the collision damages when the car allegedly hit him.
Though it is not clear a crime has occurred, the Crimes Analysis Unit has been assigned to the investigation. Officers on the scene said this is protocol when there is someone sustains a significant injury from a motor vehicle accident.
The condition of the pedestrian is unknown at this time.
