* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2
feet through Saturday morning. Snow level will lower to 2500
feet tonight and Friday, but the heaviest snowfall will be
above 3000 feet. West winds will gust 35 to 50 mph on exposed
ridges and peaks.
* WHERE...Cascades in Lane County.
* WHEN...From noon today to 10 AM PST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Expect poor winter driving conditions with snow
covered roads, low visibility, and white-out conditions at
times. Travel is expected to be rather challenging at times.

gusting as high as 45 mph over high and exposed terrain.
* WHERE...The High central Cascades. Including Diamond Lake,
Crater Lake and Highways 58, 138 and 232.
* WHEN...From 4 AM Friday to 4 AM PST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult over unplowed roads.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow accumulations up to 6 inches in 12
hours during the day on Friday. Snow will continue to accumulate
into Saturday.
