* WHAT...Snow showers expected above 1500 feet through the day. Additional accumulations up to two inches.

* WHERE...Northern Oregon Cascade Foothills and Cascade Foothills in Lane County.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM PST this afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult. Plan on icy road conditions, including major highway passes.

NWS Medford (Southwest Oregon and Northern California)

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PST THIS EVENING ABOVE 1500 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow above 1500 feet. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches above 2000 feet are expected. Between 1500 and 2000 feet, snow accumulation of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected, mainly in the evening.

* WHERE...Locations in central Douglas County above 1500 feet including, Azalea, Glendale, portions of Interstate 5 south to of Canyonville to Sexton Summit, Highway 42 at Camas Mountain and higher portions of the Trail Tiller Highway 227.

* WHEN...Through 10 PM PST Wednesday. During the day expect impacts mainly at or above 2000 feet. At lower elevations down to 1500 feet, expect impacts from snow showers mainly this evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult with snow- covered roads. The hazardous conditions could impact evening travel.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PST THIS EVENING... ...WINTER STORM WARNING IS DOWNGRADED...

* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 8 inches.

* WHERE...Moderate snow in showers expected across the eastern Douglas County Foothills and South Central Oregon Cascades. This includes Highway 58, Highway 62, Highway 138, Highway 230, and the cities of Union Creek, Toketee Falls, Crescent Lake, as well as Diamond Lake and Crater Lake. Moderate snow amounts are expected near Steamboat.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM PST this evening. The heaviest snow will fall through 4 PM this afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult. Visibilities will be reduced by blowing snow in higher exposed areas where winds are gusty.
